Seriously worried about our game though :? There's some serious work to do. And some tactical rethinking, they gotta try damn it ! So much backward passes... Our players are so obsessed with the possession of the ball and afraid to lose it that they look constantly hesitating on the pitch.

Having to keep the ball in priority means no counter attacks, no dribbles, no one touch combinations, and soon

Our defenders and midfielders do not take any risks with their passes, which is inevitably slowing our play. Our strikers are told to get involved deep in the game, and they know the others won't risk skipping a line and play direct, so they don't make any runs. But they can't get really involved in the game, because the team struggles so much at midfield to make any space without risking losing the ball that they progress very slowly, laterally.

The real glory supporters are the PSG fans  .

also, I doubt that Sunderland will get European place this season but if they keep signing players like Fletcher and Johnson then they'll be there in a few seasons, i'm also really worried about the derby on Sunday :?

Quite a good derby. Cabaye got a nice one and I didn't see Demda Ba's own goal but I'm glad he scored one too! ahah. I think Tiote's expulsion was really harsh and this changed the entire game but both team played some decent football.

He's always wounded! pourkouwah So it's his second injury of the season and probably not the last.

"P.S thank you for Cabaye he is a wonderful player and everybody here and Newcastle loves him very much."

You are welcome NUFCLOSC but please tell Pardew and Ashley that we cannot keep subsidising Newcastle like that. In future your lot will need to cough up a bit more in order to get our best players.

And isn't it refreshing to see a Geordie becoming a fan of a team that plays in red and white...

Haha color of kits don't bother me, and yeah I know I think 4.5 million is a bargain for Newcastle but horrible for LOSC, we've been linked with Debuchy also but it doesn't look like we'll get him. Also how long is Basa going to be out for?

He started running again but I don't know whether he'll make it tomorrow or not.

We'll have our first indoor game tomorrow btw.

the people who run the club were probably still a bit naive. Hopefully things are changing. I believe an offer was made by Newcastle for Debuchy but it was too low and was rightly turned down. He was after all the best right back at the Euros.

But when you look at transfer prices, LOSC need to wake up and stop behaving like a small club.

Fletcher (wolves to sunderland) £14m
Henderson: Around £20m
Bent (sunderland to villa) around £20m
Ashley Young: around £20m
Downing: around £20m
Carroll: £35m ?!?!?
Torres: £50m

and then Cabaye: £4m

Something is wrong here. If Newcastle were to sell Cabaye they'd get £20m+

Yo Cabaye, Midfielder, 190 L1 matches (30g 30a), recent french international, ligue 1 & coupe de France winner => 4m to Newcastle
Joe Allen, Midfielder, 36 PL matches (4g, 4a), recent welsh international, no palmares whatsoever => 17m to Liverpool
