Hello everyone / Bonjour à tous,

I've been in the Lille Métropole now for a solid 6 years and I've been a solid fan of LOSC since I arrived.

The problem is this: I have nobody to go to the match with. My girlfriend isn't interested in the slightest, and my French friends either don't care that much or are Lens supporters .

I rarely muster up the courage to walk the 20 minutes from where I live to the Grand Stade alone.

All this got me thinking, is there anyone else in my situation out there? Is there a small group of anglophone supporters who regularly make it out to the match, or even meet up in a pub to catch the action?

Where are you from?
If you want, there is a very famous fan of Losc, who's from England, I think he goes frequently to see matches (https://twitter.com/Gibney_A). He follows the club and the Ligue 1 for a website I think.
But, that's not rare, to hear talking english in the stadium.
There is too the Australian Bar in Lille, which employ anglophone persons and is owned by an Australian (not a surprised with the name of the bar ), some of them likes football.

I know the Australian Bar quite well and although it is a good place to see a match, I prefer going to the match in person and having a few beers before with friends.

Je suis allé voir le match contre Porto hier soir avec un pote mais il n'est pas prêt d'y retourner vu la prestation offerte.

I remember seeing a Canadian flag in the kop in Valenciennes while watching matches on television last year, but I haven't seen one at a LOSC match thus far.
