I am a Newcastle and LOSC fan and I am coming to France for the first game of the 2013/14 season but I have read a few users who do to like Newcastle because we have signed Cabaye and Debuchy, is this true?

No, it is simply that despite the fact that we respect the club Newcastle. And especially one of the best public in England and Europe.
We do not see Newcastle as a big club Europeen. (I assure you, we do not consider this way either).
Cabaye and Debuchy deserved a bigger club because of their talent.
Cabaye was a logical departure for Debuchy he made problems, which certainly creates a bad atmosphere in the locker room and sealed the first part of our season.
Eventually both players dreamed of Europe and are merely playing to maintain with you.

Yes tbh, many lille fans have mixed feelings about Newcastle, to be euphemistic.
We consider you have done more than a bargain for Cabaye and Debuchy who were both worth double the fee you paid. But then again, we mostly blame our board for accepting your offers, and letting your club rip us off. We also feel they deserved to play for a bigger club, that it was not a wise career move. With all due respect for NUFC, its amazing public and history, it is no match for the sevent biggest clubs of PL, certainly not for the Big 4.

But of course, if you come see a match, don't worry we will gladly welcome you. You'd have to go further south to find supporters dumb enough to blame an individual for the policy of his favorite club

You can go there if you like circus animations though.
